Refundable Air Tickets Terms and Conditions

We offer refundable air tickets for our tours. Please check the requirements for each tour before booking.
If your plans have changed and you no longer wish to take your flight, you can choose to:
Reschedule your trip through Manage your Booking; or
Request a refund on the same payment method used to purchase the ticket by clicking here.
Your trip will be refunded in accordance with the refund rules for the fare and route purchased. Refund requests made through the Contact Center or TAP sales desks are subject to a refund service fee of EUR 40 / USD 50 / CAD 60, charged per ticket. Refundable Air Tickets

(1) Refundable before the start of the trip. A penalty of at least 115 EUR / 125 USD / 160 CAD is deducted from the fare value. This penalty is applied to each leg (for tickets with round trip flights) and varies depending on the country of origin of the flight and the itinerary.

(2) For round trip tickets, a full refund will only be made if neither leg (outbound or inbound) has been made.

Refund requests made through the Contact Center or TAP sales desks are subject to a refund service fee of 40 EUR / 50 USD / 60 CAD, charged per ticket.

(3) Refundable before the start of the trip. A penalty of at least 200 EUR / 250 USD / 250 CAD is deducted from the fare value. This penalty is applied to each leg for tickets with round trip flights) and varies depending on the country of origin of the flight and the itinerary.

(4) Refund requests made through the Contact Center or TAP sales desks are subject to a refund service fee of 40 EUR / 50 USD / 60 CAD, charged per ticket.

Automatic refund for flights to or from the USA

On flights to or from the USA, if you do not accept or do not show up for the proposed alternative flight, TAP will issue an automatic refund (1) of the amount paid for the unused ticket(s) or services, in the following situations:

  • Delay greater than 6h;
  • Flight cancelled;
  • Change of seat from Business Class to Economy Class (downgrade);
  • Change of route;
  • Change of final destination.
This refund will be made using the same payment method used to purchase the original flight(s).
